Do Not Despair is an unframed 12" x 12" Oil on Linen painting and part of the artist's Sign of the Times series which began at the start of the Pandemic in the Spring of 2020.
Originally painted as a way to send an oil painted hug of support to Annika's friends and family, this piece was a part of the Artist's search for escape from the weight of the news in New York at the time. Connor was painting the Sign of the Times works as a way to process the Pandemic in paint and to find a way out of the anxiety during that unique time out of time.
Since it's creation in the studio Connor has found herself looking again and again to this instructional little oil painting as a reminder to breath and relax throughout Life's challenges and fears.
